I read this in a book and found it encouraging:

History is filled with people who are famous for doing great things- yet if we study their lives, we find they failed miserably before they succeeded. A person who refuses to give up will succeed eventually. Consider these examples:
-Henry Ford failed and went broke five times before he succeeded.
-NBA superstar Michael Jordan was once cut from his high school basketball team.
-After his first audition, screen legend Fred Astaire received the following assessment from an MGM executive: "Can't act. Slightly bald. Can dance a little".
-Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper because he lacked ideas. Later, he went bankrupt a few times before he built Disneyland.
-A young Burt Reynolds was once tole he couldn't act. At the same time his pal Clint Eastwood was told he would never make it in the movies because his Adam's apple was too big.

If you don't succeed, Try, Try again.

This is stuff I've been thinking about so I liked it. Love valx

Things that are COOL:
1) My friend Chedge won a comedy writing competition and her comedy sketches will be on radio 4. She won out of 2200 people. She is a dude.

2) I made 27 mince pies last night and they taste nice.

3) My friend Julie, a french girl, is getting married.

4) I bought my neice a fairy outfit for Christmas. It was only £6 from Asda which is pretty darn good.

Happy Christmas..I hope for peace and joy for you this Christmas and I hope that this new year of life (2007) brings forth GOOD things and miracles from God.........love valxxx
