My beautiful friend Jo Mortimer passed away on Tuesday after a year long fight against lung cancer. She will be so missed on this earth but heaven will be a better place for her being there. God please be close to her family, boyfriend and friends. Love valxx

I had known Jo for about five years. She was a lovely person who brought a smile to everybody's face. My condolences go out to her immediate family in Surrey and all of her friends. She was a very caring and considerate young lady. She also had a wonderful personality and was a great role model to the all the children she taught. What she had to endure in the last year was incredibly sad. Please God, May She Rest in Peace. The World will indeed be a poorer place without Jo. x

I am an old school friend of Jo Mortimer's and I have only just heard the terrible news. I just can't believe it. I am so very sad to hear what has happened.
Jo was such a lovely, warm, gentle person. I first met her aged 5!! We were at school/college together until 18 when I moved away and lost touch.
My thoughts are with her friends and family who I am sure are still missing her every day.
ZBxx
